Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using DocImprint, you agree to these Terms. If you are using DocImprint on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

2. Service Description

DocImprint is a verifiable document memory API that provides document capture, notarization, evidence bundles, document memory, and AI-assisted analysis of documents. The service is accessible via REST API, MCP server, and x402 pay-per-call payments.

3. Accounts & API Keys

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your API key.
• Notify us immediately at info@docimprint.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Payment

• Subscription plans — billed monthly via Stripe. Cancellable at any time; see our Refund Policy for details.
• Pay-per-call (x402) — individual API calls paid in USDC on Base mainnet. Payments are final and non-refundable once settled on-chain.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

5. Acceptable Use

Your use is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated by reference. Key prohibitions include:

• Processing documents you do not have the right to process.
• Violating any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, scrape, or disrupt the service.
• Submitting malicious content, malware, or exploits.
• Circumventing rate limits, access controls, or billing mechanisms.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of documents you submit. You grant us a limited license to process your documents solely to provide the service. We retain all rights to the DocImprint platform, APIs, and associated technology.

7. On-Chain Notarization

Notarization publishes a cryptographic hash of your document to the Base blockchain. Blockchain records are permanent, public, and cannot be deleted. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to notarize the documents you submit.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAWFTWARE LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the website or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
